PSAT Registration 2018

The PSAT test will be given at Century High School on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 7:40 AM in the National Volleyball Center.  The PSAT test is a practice test for the SAT college admission test and serves as a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship program.  It can also help a student identify their best college testing strategy and indicate whether it could make sense to take an SAT in addition to the ACT all juniors at Century take in April.

The PSAT is optional and there is a registration fee of $10.00. Students (juniors only) receiving free or reduced school lunch may be eligible for a fee waiver. To request a fee waiver see Mr. Couillard in the C/D office. Score reports will be distributed and explained in December or January.

Registration for the PSAT will begin on Wednesday, September 5 and end on Friday, October 5 at 3:10 PM.  Please return the completed PSAT registration form and check for $10.00 made out to Century High School to the Main OfficeThere is no make-up opportunity for the PSAT.

On average, students who take the PSAT/NMSQT score higher on the SAT than students who do not take the PSAT/NMSQT. The PSAT/NMSQT and the SAT have the same format and evaluate the same skills.
