Guidance/School Counseling
Welcome to the Century Guidance Department

The Guidance and Counseling services at Century High School are designed to help students with issues regarding the academic, social/personal, and future planning aspects of their lives. Century High School has three full-time guidance counselors, and all students are assigned to a counselor. To find out who your counselor is, CLICK HERE for Guidance Staff information.

Students and parents can contact their guidance counselor by telephone or email. To meet with a counselor, please schedule an appointment with Jennifer Klampe, the Guidance Secretary at 507-328-5051 or jeklampe@rochester.k12.mn.us for a time that would work best for you.  

The Career Center is another branch of the Guidance Department. The Century Career Center is located in the Century Media Center. Students and parents are encouraged to visit and look through the materials in the Career Center which includes books and information regarding colleges, careers, testing, financial aid, and life after high school. College visits take place in the Career Center. The Career Center is also the repository for Scholarship applications for use by Century Students are also available in the Career Center. 

More Career and College information is available from anywhere you have internet access through the MCIS (Minnesota Career Information System). Note that access is restricted and users will need to obtain the Century username and password from one of the counseling offices or the Career Center.

We want Century students to have as great of a high school experience as possible, and it is our pleasure to serve our clients with that goal in mind.
