1. Take a look at the 50 Business Card Design Ideas here: Find & save at least one business card you like to your U:drive. Use this business card example as inspiration for your business card design for your client.

2. Download & print this handout: Business Card Design Name.docx

3. Work on creating your design plan for the front & back of your business card design. Use colored pencils, pencils, & markers to decorate your business card. Show your design plan to Mrs. Quam before proceeding.

5. In Photoshop, these are the requirements for the business card design:
-Each team member will create a front and back for the business card design. These are called "preliminary designs". When your team is ready, have Mrs. Quam check the designs & provide constructive feedback. Then, each team will have to create a final design front and back for their business card.
-Size is 3.5 inches wide, 2 inches high
-300 dpi resolution
-The majority of the design must be illustrated (brush, text, pencil, shape, etc.) Any copied images must be approved by Mrs. Quam and follow Copyright law.
-Include your logo design somewhere on the business card
-Name & address of business (make these up :)
-Phone #, E-mail, & website URL (make these up :)

-Short description of business and/or slogan
-Optional: Facebook, Twitter, your own photo, quotes or testimonials from customers, design elements
-Insert your front & back business card designs into the Word document template: Businesscardtemplate.docx. Save this document & send as an attachment in an e-mail to Mrs. Quam at
-Upload the front & back of the business card design to your Weebly account (each team member must do this).
